What is Physiotherapy

Veterinary physiotherapy is an evidence-based treatment used on a range of conditions with the aim of improving quality of life by eliminating pain, maintaining flexibility and improving strength, proprioception, core stability and fitness/performance.
Veterinary physiotherapists with their knowledge of anatomy and physiology conduct static and dynamic assessments of animals to identify any musculoskeletal abnormalities.
A treatment plan is then conducted and may consist any of the following deemed appropriate for the individual animal:

THERAPIES

Massage, Range of Motion, Stretching, Cryotherapy or Thermal Therapy

ELECTRO
THERAPIES

Class IV Laser, Pulse Electromagnetic Field (PEMF), Tens, Neuromuscular- Electrical Stimulation
